Lena Ann Fambrini died peacefully in her beloved Marin County on April 22, 2018. Mrs Fambrini was born on March 10, 1922 in the Excelsior District of San Francisco, CA to her parents Margaret and James Degeorgis. She graduated from Balboa High School in 1940. She married Hugo Fambrini in 1941 and raised two sons, Kenneth and David, in the Marina District of San Francisco. Mrs Fambrini's first job in high school was working as an usherette at the Granada Theater on Mission Street. She would later spend 30 years working as the bookkeeper for her husband's company. Mrs. Fambrini was a strong and supportive spouse and mother and a loving and generous mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs Fambrini was an avid traveler and voracious patron of the arts. She regularly enjoyed the theater and opera and spending time with her family and friends. Her love of family rivaled her fondness for the Villa Marin community. She was the sun of Villa Marin and her family's moon and stars. Mrs. Fambrini is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Louise), David (Cheryl), grandsons, Jim (Suzy), Matt, and David (Alicia), and great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Anthony and Analia. A memorial will take place at Villa Marin. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Villa Marin scholarship fund.
