I was fortunate to have known Lewis when I worked at Fairyland in the 1980s. One of my duties was to sometimes assist him with the puppet shows. I was not the best puppeteer, but Lewis was always patient and caring in his teaching--as he was in life. He will be greatly missed.

Lewis was a long time friend in puppetry as part of Puppeteers of America. We traveled to Yugoslavia with P of A and kept in close contact sharing puppet producing secrets to advance our beloved craft. He'll be greatly missed by many..me especially.
