Louis Lucq Obituary

Louis Lucq Entered into heaven surrounded by his loving family on January 10th, 2012 at the age of 86. Louis was the loving husband of Jeannette for more than 61 years. Cherished father of Louis Jean (Jeanie), Annie and Paul (Joanie). Beloved brother of Jean-Marie, grandfather of Sean (Stacie), Olivia Goetz (Mike), Danielle, Dominic and William. Great grandfather of Geneva Goetz, and soon to be born baby Mason (Sean & Stacie). Louis was born and raised in the Pyrenees, in the town of Arette, in the south of France. He immigrated to the United States in 1947. He served in the French Army at the end of WWII. Louis and Jeannette owned Lacrouts French Laundry in San Francisco then retired to Sonoma in 1978, where he pursued his second career in gardening. Louis was a long standing member of la Ligue Henri IV and former president of the French Laundrymen's association of San Francisco. Friends and family are invited to visitation Monday, Jan 16 from 2pm to 3:30pm and vigil at 4pm at Duggan's Mission Chapel, 525 West Napa St. Sonoma Ca. A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis Solano Catholic Church, (3rd street West and West Napa St.) Sonoma Ca. on Tuesday Jan 17th at 11:00 a.m. Dad, your life was full of loving deeds, forever thoughtful of our needs. Today and tomorrow, our whole lives through, we will always love and cherish you. We look back on our childhood and thank the stars above, for everything you gave to us but mostly for your love.
