Louis Magri Obituary

Louis Magri Died Jan. 6, 2007 at the Veterans Home in Yountville at the age of 96. Louie was born in San Francisco on Aug. 10, 1910, the son of Italian immigrants Pietro and Agnese Magri. Loving husband of the late Rose Magri. Survived by his sister Inez Wilson and sister-in-law, Dolores Magri. Louie was preceded in death by his brothers Andrew, Eugene and Etlo Magri. Adored uncle of Margaret Klein, Ray Wilson, Michael Wilson, Barbara Faxe, John Wilson, Roseanne Lewis, Diana Magri, Peter Magri, Susan Dycus, James Magri, Judy Buschiazzo, Kathy Woo, Laverne Pengel, Donald O'Callaghan, Theresa Cutler, Michael O'Callaghan, Kathy Delahunty, John O'Callaghan, and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. Veteran of World War II. Louie retired in 1973 as a lieutenant in the San Francisco Fire Department after 36 years of service. Louie will be remembered for his gentleness. He was a very kind and humble man. Services will be held at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, 1900 Franklin Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA, on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 11:30AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louie's memory can be made to Hospice of Napa Valley, 414 South Jefferson St., Napa, CA 94559.
