Mark Foletti Obituary

Mark Foletti passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 28, 2024, at his home in Union City, CA, at the age of 66. A kind-hearted and straightforward man, Mark devoted his career to the insurance industry. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. He is survived by his siblings, Louis Foletti and Dona Wittman, his wife, Maribeth Foletti, his stepchildren, John Diamonon (Jamie Abalos), Jennifer Diamonon (Jonathan Jacoby), Jamie Diamonon Reyes (Mike Reyes), as well as his grandchildren, Jacob Macalolooy, Andie Diamonon, and Dylan Diamonon, his great-grandchildren, Bradley Flores and Jesse Macalolooy.
Mark had a deep love for the Mountains of Tuolumne County, where he spent many cherished moments at his family's cabin. In accordance with his wishes, his ashes will be spread there. A celebration of his life will be held on September 14 at 6:00 pm at the Ruggieri Senior Center, 33997 Alvarado-Niles Rd., Union City, CA.

I am so sad to hear about Mark. We have lost a truly great, wise and compassionate person. We met in 1990 when I started as an underwriter trainee and he was the established professional. He taught me about life and people as much as he taught me about business. We shared many inside jokes that always make me smile when I think of them. I feel he had a huge influence on my career and my life, and I will miss being able to call him whenever I want a laugh. Tom Rocca
