Victoria, I am very sorry for your loss. Michael was a great person. We had a jury trial together which he handled with total professionalism, class and humility. He even made the subject matter, cement interesting. May this wonderful man rest in peace and prayers and condolences to you and your entire family. Mark R. Forcum, Judge (retired) Millbrae

Mike was always such a jokester. When I was six or seven, he filled his mouth with toothpaste and brushed until it was foamy and dripping. He started chasing my brother Bill and me around the house yelling he had rabies! We screamed, and my Mom intervened. Mike calmly explained he was giving us a lesson on avoiding animals foaming at the mouth. Mom approved of his innovative lesson, and I have never been able to approach a drooling dog since that time!

What a jokester Mike was, even as kids. I remember I was about 6 or 7. He brushed his teeth until they were all sudsy and dripping, then started chasing me and my brother Bill around the house saying he had rabies! We screamed in terror and my Mom finally intervened. Mike very suavely explained he was trying to teach us a lesson about avoiding animals with foaming mouths. He was lauded for his innovative lesson ... and I have never been able to approach a drooling dog since that time!
