Michael Brewer, 81, a devoted husband, loving father, and master plumber, passed away peacefully at home in Pacifica, California, on Thursday, September 25, surrounded by his family.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Michael dedicated over four decades to his plumbing career, running Brewer & Parrish before working for the City of San Francisco until his retirement.
Born in San Francisco to Patrica Hubbard and Renato Ravella, he became a long-time Pacifica resident.
Michael shared 57 years of marriage with his wife, Mary Ann Brewer. He is survived by his children: Dee Dee (Brian) Maunas, Christy (Walt) Allen, Dave (Alicia) Brewer, and John (Dawn) Brewer, and grandchildren Cory & Daniel Maunas, Zach & Jaeda Allen. He is also survived by his brother, Marty Brewer. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Matt Brewer.
His family will remember his strong work ethic, willingness to help, and steady presence. Michael was an enthusiastic fan of the San Francisco 49ers and Giants, and an avid golfer.
A mass will be held at Good Shepherd Church on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11:00 am, followed by a reception at 12:30 pm at the Elks Club in South San Francisco.
