June 28, 1942 - January 15, 2023
Nancy Rose Wade departed peacefully at age 80 on January 15, 2023. Preceded by her mother Eileen and husband Carl (Reno). Survived by her sons Dennis, Timothy and Kevin; daughters-in-law Michelle, Elizabeth and Jeanne; grandchildren Lily, Rose, Violet, Scarlett, Alexandria, Shannon, Colin and Ryan; lifelong friends Denise Goodwin and Pauline Sloan.
Nancy was a proud descendant of County Cork, Ireland and cherished her trips to the Emerald Isle; An avid gardener, She made her backyard sing with color; a proud graduate of St. Paul's High School.
She treasured her friends from Noe Valley and St. Philip Parish in San Francisco, St. Dominic Parish in Benicia and in Guerneville along the Russian River.
Memorial service February 11, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Philip Church. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Salesian Boys & Girls Club, San Francisco.

Today we celebrated the life of our long time friend Nancy. She would have been so proud of the wonderful memorial that her sons, daughter-in-law and grandchildren had for her. We had so much fun with her through the years and enjoyed seeing everyone today.

My cousin Nancy was our babysitter when we were growing up. She often vacationed with us along with her mom, Eileen, at the Russian River. She was crazy-funny and adventurous. As adults we shared and interest in researching our ancestry together. She was the holder of the family history (including the secrets) and, by far, my favorite cousin. Miss you, Nancy.

Nancy and I met in 8th grade and have been great friends since then We shard more laughs than I can think. We loved talking about our respective visits to Ireland, home of our not too distant ancestors. Nancy was one of the funniest and most caring persons I have ever met. I miss you Nancy
