Nicholas Papapietro Obituary

Nicholas "Nick" Papapietro November 13, 1923 - September 13, 2008 A native San Franciscan. Served in the US Army 1943-46 and proud of it! He was preceded in death by his parents Domenick and Florence and brother, Fred Papapietro. He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife Christina; his loving brother and sisters, Rocco (Frances), Ann (John) Bilei and Emily Papapietro. His in-laws in San Jose who loved him dearly: Marion Romano, Millie Morrone, Sam and Julia Tanda, LuciIle and Mary Langone. Also, his beloved nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces and great-great nephews and nieces! He will be missed by our dearest friend of over 50 years, Fr. Efrem Trettel, OFM, his friends in the Calamari and Scaccipensieri Clubs which he was so proud to be a member of...and so many of his good friends (too many to mention!). A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Nick on Oct. 9th, 11am at St. Elizabeth Church, corner of Somerset and Wayland Sts., SF. Donations may be made to Sisters of Mercy, 2300 Adeline Dr., Burlingame, CA 94010 or St. Anthony Foundation, 150 Golden Gate Ave., SF, CA 94102.

Our thoughts are with you in Nick's death. What a fine person he was. I know that my husband, Senator MIlton Marks held him in high regard.
