Oriana Simonetti Obituary

Oriana (Brunini) Simonetti Passed away unexpectedly at age 74. Born in Lucca, Italy, Oriana has called San Francisco home for the past 40 years. Beloved wife of Franco Simonetti with whom she celebrated her 50th Wedding Anniversary this past September. She was a loving and devoted mother to Patrizia Maffei, mother-in-law to Alan Maffei; and Nonna to Megan and Giulia Maffei. Also survived by two sisters and one brother who live in Italy and many family members and countless friends in the United States and Italy. She will be forever missed and will live on in our hearts. A Viewing will be held at Valente Marini Perata & Co., 4840 Mission Street, SF, on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 from 4 to 6 pm. Funeral services to be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 449 Holyoke Street in SF, beginning at 10 am on Thurs, Jan. 11, 2007. Committal to follow at the Italian Cemetery in Colma, CA.
