1956 - 2014
Peacefully left us on April 22, 2014. A 4th generation San Franciscan and employee of SF Water Department for over 20 years. Known for his big personality, even bigger heart, unwavering loyalty, great stories and a smile that lit up even the darkest of rooms. He will live in our hearts forever.
Devoted husband of 22 years to Bonnie Fernandez, he is also survived by daughter Maxine McCann (Jeff), grand-daughters Shayla Rae and Mia Rose as well as many dear friends, particularly Rick Ramos and Johnny Casolla, who were with him when he passed.
Friends are welcome to join the luncheon celebrating his life on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Basque Cultural Center, 599 Railroad Ave, South San Francisco 94080.

Thank you all for such kind words about Paco. He was bigger than life. I talk to him everyday, from morning till night. The worst part of his death is being alone without him. Our home is too quite! Miss you my sweet. ??

I met Paco at about 10am on a regular workday in the Isis Street neighborhood of San Francisco. By 1 pm I felt like he was one of my old friends from the east Bronx. This was about 25 years ago. I was in NYC with my wife when I heard of his passing. As a machinist I enjoyed manufacturing things for him for his many projects. He used to bring me toys for my kids. A kind and gentle person who reached a high level of humanity. Bob O

I just found out that Paco has passed. I am very sad. I first met Paco when I was 16. He was the life of the party. Everyone who met him ended up loving him! He was in my wedding, always with us on vacations, up at different lakes, boating. Even though it has been years since I have seen you, you have always held a special place in my heart, and always will. xoxoxo

Wow its hard to know what to say. It's been 30yrs ago or more. What do you say when someone you grew up with passes on. My condolences to the family. I didn't know you but I go way back with Paco and the old gang Ronnie, Liz, and the rest of our old group. I will always, remember his smile and big heart. And how he cared for others. Rest in peace my friend.

What can I say, God got another good person, a person that was the very best, you will always be remembered and loved by my family. I am so sorry you didn't get to see Madison when she was born, but I will carry on your stories and what a great and kind person you were.
