Phillip Phillips Obituary

Phillip Phillips "The Greek" Phil was born July 11th, 1922 in San Francisco to James and Barbara Phillips. At the age of 18 he went to work for the 12th Naval District and retired as a hull inspector in 1973. Phil fished commercially out of the infamous Fisherman's Wharf for 27 years. On Aug. 19th, 2009 he left behind his loving wife of 64 years Connie. He is survived by his beloved children, Michael James, Anthony James, James Christian, and his adored daughter Nicola M. Bihn. He was Papa to his treasured grandchildren Michael Phillips Jr., Taylor, Conor and Sophia Bihn. Father-in-law to Kathy Phillips, Rebecca Phillips and John Bihn Jr. He is also survived by his brother Ellias Phillps and many other loving family members. He will live in our hearts forever. A private family Memorial with the scattering of his ashes at sea will be at a later date. Contributions in Phil's memory may be made to any Children's Charity.
