Rafael Labutan Obituary
Born October 24, 1924 in Tuba, Benguet, Philippines. The son of Santiago Labutan and Kaisha Kiwas and predeceased by his surviving siblings from the Japanese invasion of the Philippines: Elisa, Charles, Nicolasa, Alban, Adeline and Soriano.
He was a Philippine guerilla fighter before joining the US Navy where he served over 20 years. Upon retiring from the Navy, he worked another 20 years for Wells Fargo Bank and retired in 1989.
Friends may visit on Tuesday, September 18th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City. Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 19th at 11:00am, at St. Gabriel Church, 2559 40th Avenue, San Francisco. Interment to follow at Skylawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Gabriel Church.

Hi Dad!
We are always thinking of you and can't believe it's been a month since your passing. We thank you so much for everything you have done for us. You provided your children to have a great life and we had the opportunity to see our roots and see the struggles of life you and Mom had while growing up. We know you will always be watching over us and we will always have your lifetime memories with us. Now it's time to see your family, relatives and friends that have been waiting for your arrival in heaven. We will all be there when that time comes. ❤
