Dear Parodi Family, Rich and I were childhood friends. Many a night I stopped by his lab in a downstairs room at his parent's home on the corner of Girard and Wayland Streets. He would often take a break from his late night dental school studies for a chat and a game of chess.

Dear Parodi Family-
I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Parodi's passing. He has been my dentist since I was 12 years old. Even when I moved out of SF, I continued to see him. I will always think of him as a kind, caring, and funny man.

Please accept my sincere condolences during this difficult time.

Dear Parodi Family: Our hearts are filled with such sadness for all of you at this time. We have known Rich and his family for over 60 years as our parents were merchants on San Bruno Ave and my oldest brother, Buzz went to school with Rich at St. Elizabeth's and then onto Riordan and then when he took over Dr. Shapiro's practice, we all became his patients too ......please accepts our sincere condolences,

Dear Parodi Family,

I would like to express my condolences on behalf of myself and the Andreatta family. Dr. Parodi has been my dentist ever since I was a little girl. My father, "Doc" Andreatta had his chiropractic business in the same building with Dr. Parodi for many years, and they were good friends. I remember they would have lunch together once in a great while before my dad passed. I will miss Dr. Parodi very much-he was a wonderful dentist and a wonderful person. He always had a smile on his face whenever I came for my dental visits. He was also very good to my mom, Mary. Our family will miss him very much. May he be at peace now with the angels and our Lord Jesus. God bless all of you.

To Mrs. Parodi and Family,

Dr. Parodi was our family dentist when we lived in the Portola neighborhood in the 1970's. I remember him as a very kind and professional man. He took very good care of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May the memories you have be cherished in your heart forever. Dr. Parodi has now earned his angel wings in heaven. God bless your family.

Dear Parodi Family:
I would like to let you know that you have our greatest sympathy and our hearts are truly saddened. Doctor Parodi was more than just our family’s dentist for nearly 30 years; he was a wonderful friend. We always enjoyed seeing him and hearing his interesting stories about his family through the years. I believe I was only twelve when I first went to his office and that is why I will truly miss his priceless skill.
Indeed, he was the best dentist any patient could ask for; I’m grateful that I had the opportunity to visit with him and hear him whistling around the dentist chair one last time this past March. He was and always will be the greatest dentist I’ve ever had!
And, we know that his passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of all those who knew him. Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Betty and Family,
My cousin, Saundra, informed me today about Richard. He had been our family dentist for many years. My contact with him went back to 1950 and St. Elizabeth School. We use to go to morning Mass together. We we went to high school together. I kept contact with him when he was in the Navy. His father, Pete, sold us our first house. Richard secured the Olympic Club for our elementary school class's twenty-fifth year reunion. He was always generous and friendly. He will be missed by many.

I am proud to say that at the age of 16 or 17, I became one of Dr. Parodi's first patients and have remained one for over 40 years. As the years went by, I felt he was more of a friend than just my dentist and we shared many stories about our families. His kindness and love for his patients always shined through. He was a very special man. Although I never met any of you, I always felt I knew you through him. I will miss my visits with him so much. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Betty, Stephen, Susan & Family,
Bob & I are so sorry to hear about Dr. P.'s death. I worked for him 11 1/2 years. We had some fun times at work. I always liked his ties. He always had a tie for any occasion. His patients thought the world of him. I lost a great friend. But we know that he's in a better place. Know that you are in our prayers. Wish I could be there, but you understand. With Deepest Sympathy,
Bob & Marlene Betsch-Rasmussen
