Richard Pitt Obituary

Richard "Dick" N. Pitt Jr. Passed away peacefully in So. San Francisco, January 21, 2009 at age 71. Dick was born in San Francisco October 3, 1937 and was a resident of Redwood City for 56 years. Loving son of the late Margaret and Richard Pitt, Sr. Cherished brother of Robin (Sal) Calcagno Jr. of Redwood City and the late Noreen Morgan. Dear uncle of Sal (Penny) Calcagno III of Boulder Creek and Carolyn Calcagno of Redwood City. Also survived by several dear nieces, nephews and grand nephews. Dick was a graduate of Sequoia High School. He enjoyed gardening, building models and furniture. He loved reading and studying history. Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service Monday, January 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road, Redwood City. Interment will follow at Skylawn Memorial Park. Memorials in Dick's name to your favorite charity preferred. www.crippenflynn.com
