While it saddened me to learn of Bob's death, in an instant fond memories flashed through my mind.
Bob was a guiding light, and positive influence in my youth. No telling how that would have turned out otherwise. I am blessed to have benefitted from his leadership, kindness, and friendship.
Playing golf with Bob was entertaining, and I am certain a side few saw. He was, after all, human.
Bob left a piece of his heart, and created lasting memories for hundreds of youth who passed through the doors of MPC. Summer trips to the California coast, Disneyland, Mt. Shasta, Olympic Mountains, San Juan Islands, and weekend getaways to the Oregon mountains and coast. What amazing generosity.
Bob contributed to life. Bob contributed to me.
Thank you, Bob.

To the Grove Family,
My deepest condolences go out to you following the loss of Pastor Bob Grove. Pastor Grove was an amazing man of God and a tremendous friend to our family. He was the first pastor who made me like church and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to know him and his family. My prayers are with you. God bless,

Bob was a great influence on my life as a youth. I went on several "Week on Wheels" trips as a camper and as a counselor. In 1970 on one of those trips in 1970, I met my wife to be. 12 years later in 1982, Bob co-officiated at our wedding in Santa Cruz, CA. This year we celebrated 35 years together.
There are so many other stories I could share, but the greatest gift Bob gave me was making it possible to find the love of my life.
Bob will be fondly remembered by many. My condolences go out to his family and I hope to reconnect with them at his service.

It is with great sadness to know that Rev. Grove passed away. I thoroughly enjoyed each of his sermon's while attending Stinson Beach Community Church over many years. He brought real life experiences to share. Rev. Grove recited beautiful passages to encourage thoughts to leave with us. I will always think of him as a leader in my faith. Rev. Grove often talked of his family and wife, Paige. Peace be with all of you. I am sorry to miss his service.
