I went to Portola and Lowell with Robert. We played football, basketball and baseball as teammates for six years. Cherished memories. Many years later Robert would come into our family grocery store and make sure his company was providing us with good service. My sincere condolences to the family.

I competed against Rob for many years on the softball diamonds of SF. I played 1B and always felt my life was on the line because Rob crushed the ball harder than anyone. Post game, Rob was always a class act and gentleman and was respected by all.
