Robert Harold Mann

Robert Harold Mann, 89, of San Francisco, passed away December 29, 2016 in San Francisco, California.


Robert was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1927. He moved to San Francisco in the late 1950's and began a Certified Public Accounting practice that has remained in continuous operation for nearly 60 years.


Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Harold, and his sister Lee Blumberg.


He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Marlene, his two sons Harold and Alex and their wives Nancy and Lisa, his grandchildren Jordan, Lauren, David & Victoria, his sister Nancy Green, and many nieces and nephews.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jewish Home of San Francisco, 302 Silver Avenue, SF, CA 94112. Condolences may be left for the family at [email protected] or by mail at Mann Consulting, 282 Second Street #400, San Francisco, California, 94105.


Per Robert's request, the immediate family will observe a private graveside service at the Home of Peace Cemetery in Colma, California.

The family will observe Shiva at Marlene's home commencing Saturday.


The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the neurology team and the nursing staff at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and for The Sequoias of San Francisco for their support.

Mr. Mann gave me the opportunity to join his firm and learn the CPA business in the 1980s. He was a kind and learned man. My condolences to his family. I am sure he is greatly missed.
