2/6/1969 - 9/8/1990
February 6th would have been your 50th birthday. On that special day and always, your loving presence is forever in our hearts. We are so blessed and grateful for our time together. Your joy, inspiration and "Hope for the Best" spirit lives deeply in our souls. You are so very loved and missed. Happy Birthday, dear Doug.

I went to high school with Doug .. not sure why but recently I started thinking about him after finding out about this tragic event... so long ago... but fresh in my mind. I traveled a few times along with him (some nice day student attending girls):sort of friends ... we were boarders at high school in Monterey ... very astute guy good looking, athletic, and nice .. seemed to have it all .. was very saddened to read what happened. We really don’t know what the future has in store for us but wanted to put this out there ... I admired the guy this incident really made me think a lot about mortality.. he wanted to helped those dear to him .. strange before social media the world is changing so quickly .. stay safe .. To his family I remember him great guy so young and confident.. Hope everyone is safe and sound during these times. Here in Japan I feel pretty safe and fortunate.. peace ...
