Roger Chetcuti Obituary
Beloved husband of the late Pauline Chetcuti, Loving father of Rita (Tullius and Tom), and Evelyn (Chetcuti-Graves and Joseph), Loving Grandfather of two, Collin Tullius and Nathaniel Graves. Brother-in-law of Josephine Vella, much-loved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Roger was born in Rabat, Malta, where he met his future wife Pauline. He was an accomplished barber in Malta for many years. When work became scarce he went off to Australia to look for a job. After cutting sugar cane in the fields he found a more enjoyable job working at the Savoy Plaza in Melbourne. Here he met one of his favorite singers, Nat King Cole, in person. After almost two years in Australia he won the Queensland lottery with his good friend Charlie. Then he returned to Malta to marry his fiancée Pauline. He became a proud member of the Harbor Patrol in Valletta, Malta. In 1959 he immigrated to America with his family and eventually found his career at MetLife, retiring after 25 years of service on May 2, 1992.

Funeral Mass: 11:00 AM, Monday, October 26th; Church of The Epiphany; 827 Vienna St, S.F.
