Rudolph Hernandez
January 18, 1929 - November 25, 2022
Rudolph (Rudy) passed away peacefully in his home. Born and raised in San Francisco, a city he always loved and ended up working for the City and County of San Francisco for 32 years primarily in the Retirement System. He enjoyed music (going to operas with his daughter and granddaughter), politics (his true passion), and a well-aged scotch. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant in the Korean War and was always proud to be a Marine. After returning from Korea, he completed his bachelor's degree at USF. Rudy was proceeded in death by his parents Rodolfo and Mercedes, brothers Anthony, John and Harvey and Son Ricardo. He is survived by his wife Raisa, Children Rudolph (Raini) and Michelle, Step Daughter Elena, Grandchildren Rudy Jeffrey, Nicolas and Barbara, Step Grandchildren Chandler and Addison, and Great Grand Children Caroline and Allison and more cousins than you can count.
Real family man that was always there for anyone at anytime with a smile that could light up a room, you will be greatly missed Dad, Little Rudy (Rudy David).
A service will be held at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in Novato on 12/6 at 10:30AM. He will he laid to rest with his parents at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, CA at 1:30PM after the service.
