Passed away July 13, 2013.
Beloved mother of Patricia Devin Blair, San Francisco, CA, Thomas Devin, Oakland, CA, Cynthia Penrod, Pittsburgh PA. and devoted grandmother to four grandchildren.
A San Francisco native, active in the Bay Area community, she touched many lives professionally and personally. She was very thankful for each of those special connections.
Private family mass to be held later. Contributions in her honor can be made to California Pacific Medial Center Foundation, P.O. Box 7999 San Francisco, CA 94120.

Our deepest sympathy to Sandra Kok's family. We worked with her in the City of Oakland's Senior Companion Program and the Taxi-Up & Go Project. She will be missed.

My sincerest condolences to you all, Sandy's dear children. Sandy was a close friend of mine at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, especially in 7th and 8th grades. I remember fun times with her at her home on Broderick and with all of her many siblings.I am Susan Scully McCrea; my mother was Dorothy Scully, who knew Albert and Louise Kok very well.
Several years ago Sandy and I had a long and beautiful lunch and reunion at a restaurant near Lake Merritt. I am so grateful we had that time together! She is such a loving, deep, strong, and wonderful person, whom I am so glad I knew! I have pictures of our time together. My email is [email protected] Blessings and comfort to you all! Dear Thomas, Trish and my dear godchild Cynthia..I have been thinking of your mom and was going to try and connect with her as she had not returned any of my calls for so long. I was so sad to read the paper today and see that she had passed away. She was such a special friend and I loved her very much. Even though the last three years I have not seen her I missed her so much. My life will never be the same and I pray that all of you are alright. If I can ever help any of you in any way please let me know...Your mother loved all of you so much and you were her life. My prayers and sympathy go out to all of you.
