Passed away on April 27th, 2015. "Sandi", as she was affectionately known, was born in San Francisco on 9/17/1946 to mother Florence Lee. Her husband Joseph Ramirez survives her, along with her two stepchildren Michael and Joe, grandson Joaquin, Aunt Sylvia Lee and, cousins Ruby Lee, Rose Hughes and Darlyne Heath. Her mother and son Rick preceded her in death. Sandi was a film technician and managed the customer service department of Monaco Laboratories for over thirty years, where she had countless friends and co-workers. Sandi and Joe eventually retired to Auburn, CA in 2005, where she was active in the community and continued to make many friends. Sandi was truly loved by all because she was so thoughtful, gregarious and loving and, will be missed not only by her friends and family, but also the San Francisco Film Community, whom she served for over three decades. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Sandi was always so friendly and kind to me when I came into Monaco's. She always made me feel like I was a valued customer even though I was a film student picking up a couple rolls here and there. So sorry to hear about her passing.

Dear Joe Ramirez, thinking of you. We all lost a friend but your loss is the greatest. Carry on, my friend. We will always keep the bright light of Sandi on in the San Francisco film industry she made humane and worth belonging to.
