Sara Rinaldi Obituary

Sara Jane (Cordz) Rinaldi Sara passed away peacefully in her sleep at 7:15am on Thurs., Sept. 20, 2007 at the San Mateo Convalescent Hospital. She was born in Astoria, OR, on July 20, 1924. Sara was predeceased by her parents Barney and Elizabeth Cordz and her younger sisters Bernice Ludwig and Patricia Walters. Sara moved to San Francisco in the summer of 1944 and worked for the U.S. Navy on Treasure Island until 1950. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Louis Anthony Rinaldi and her children, Louis Anthony Rinaldi, Jr., William Louis Rinaldi, Anne Corinne Ammenti (husband, David) and Barney Rinaldi (wife, Gail). She leaves behind her grandchildren, Jennifer Ammenti, Lisa Morrow (husband, Ryan) and Mollie Rinaldi. She will be missed. Friends and family are invited to a Mass for Sara on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, 10:30am at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, One Notre Dame Ave., San Mateo, CA. A reception at 3004 Mason Lane in San Mateo, CA, will follow the Mass.
