Deepest condolences to Alma and the Kretchmer family. Steven will be missed by many and the jewelry world suffers a major loss.
Personally, Steven had a major influence on my career path and I will always be grateful for that.
Steven will be remembered for his acerbic wit and brilliance.
May God's peace be with his family and friends to see them through this time.

Though neither my wife nor I personally knew Steven, we began our life together with one of his rings and I will forever be grateful for his sense of beauty which I have appreciated every day on my wife's hand. Sitting at my computer at work, I shed a tear for those who survive him. Thank you for letting him be who he was.
