Steven John Martinelli, late of Burlingame and San Mateo County resident for his entire life, entered into rest in Santa Clara on April 29, 2021. Beloved husband of Lisa Martinelli. Loving father of Michael Kevin and Jack Robert. Cherished son of Janet Martinelli and the late Albert Martinelli. Dear brother of Lauretta Fraser and brother in law Grant Fraser. Dear uncle of Sarah (her husband Matthew Buckley) and Stephanie. Son in law of Robert and Beatrice Tomasello. Brother in law of Anthony and Ellen Tomasello and uncle to Olivia. Also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
A native of San Francisco, California, age 55 years.
A member of the Peninsula Italian American Social Club in San Mateo, the Monte Cristo Club in San Francisco, Italian Catholic Federation Branch 173, and as an avid hunter belonged to the St. Germain Gun Club and the California Waterfowl Association.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM with the visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 1721 Hillside Drive in Burlingame. Interment will be at the Italian Cemetery in Colma. His family appreciates donations to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or to the California Waterfowl Association at www.calwaterfowl.org.
