I have known of Sue Stacks for nearly 20 years. At first I only knew that she was someone who volunteered her time tirelessly to promote and support the SF Fire Department and its members. Soon I discovered that her work with both the Phoenix Society and the Hook and Ladder Society did so much to protect not only the fire houses and fire apparatus of days gone by...but more importantly she recognized the importance to maintain the memories of the service and contributions of the many retired firefighters.
All of the people she has touched through the Phoenix Society, the Hook and Ladder Society, the SFFD and of course her loving brother Richard, sister-in-law Barbara, niece Barbara and her cousins and all her remaining family and friends will miss her dearly.
God bless you Sue...and thank you!
