Teresa Thran Obituary

THRAN, Teresa - At peace on March 11, 2005 at the age of 90, surrounded with the love of her family and devoted caregivers. Beloved wife of the late Henry Thran. Adored mother of Diane (Albert) Gragnani. Loving grandmother "Nini" of Michael A. (Vera) Gragnani and John L. (Liz) Gragnani. Proud and caring great-grandmother of Aron and Jeana. Tante Teresa is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Teresa was a longstanding member of the St. Mary's Park Improvement Club. She also belonged to the Italian Catholic Federation, Branch 50. Her family and friends were her greatest joy and she was always guided by her strong Faith. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday after 5:00PM and are invited to attend the Rosary at 7:00PM also on Tuesday, and the Funeral on Wednesday March 16, 2005 at 10:30AM from the chapels of VALENTE MARINI PERATA & CO. 4840 Mission St., SF thence to St. John the Evangelist Church (19 St. Mary's Ave., SF, CA 94112) where an 11:00AM Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Committal to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Parish Center, 98 Bosworth St., San Francisco, CA 94112 or a charity of your choice. You have touched our lives forever with your love and sweet smile.
