Thank you to Jennifer for taking such beautiful care of Tom during those darkest hours. There are no words to express how eternally grateful I am and how kind & gentle your hands were. Your daughters are special women, also, and so happy to have met them and your sister, Rachel.

and most of all, I now know why you always wanted to hold my hand. Your dad tucking you in everynight as he said:
"Night night, Tommy, night night. Sleep tight, Tommy, sleep tight. (your dad then would say - 'Am I right?' (you'd shake your head and say 'wrong') and it would go on and on and on til' you fell asleep as he held your hand - right/wrong, right/wrong bantering with your father til' you slept.
I'll always remember that story......and your generosity, your silliness, your politeness, your passion, your infectious spirit & your affectionate self. Your ability to include everyone, no matter where they came from, and your kindness. You are sorely missed.
I know you're in heaven dancing and singing and playing your guitar and swimming and visiting with family members & friends and sharing tons of stories with each other.
******.......rest in peace, dad.

Uncle Tom will be dearly missed...I feel so lucky that we got to be a part of the same family, and will always remember the adventures, stories, and music that he brought each time we got together. Sending all of my love.

One of a kind, a great friend, a great musician, a dreamer who could make dreams come true. He was my Brother, and welcomed me into his family, who treated me as their own. Scarcely a day ever goes by without remembering Brother Tom; his upbeat irrepressible zest for life and its many adventures, his warmth and generosity, buoyant personality, gregariousness, caring, his capacity to undertake a project and achieve success, and of course the camaraderie and dreams we shared.
May God hold you in the palm of his hand and welcome you into the next world.
With love always I will see you soon,
Your Brother Bob.

I keep remembering that beautiful weekend of fun we all had together looking out at the gorgeous California coastline at Point Arena with Tom, Jennifer, all of the family, and all of his friends. The music was so happy, the meals were fantastic, and the ocean sight and sounds were so perfect. How lucky we were to share this precious, unique time with Tom and his beautiful sensitive spirit. And I can't ever forget the kindness and special caring he showed to his father-in-law, Alan Wickham, in his final years. I am so sad Tom is gone but what a legacy of the importance of family, friendship, love, and music Tom has left us as a way for us to go forward. I am hoping Tom is still playing his music in the Great Beyond and that his spirit will remain with us.

My cherished and longtime friend, I will miss you very much. I will always have the memories of our high school adventures and the many times we hung out in North Beach, especially those great times we spent at your house playing guitar together as teenagers dreaming of one day becoming rock stars. Life events often intervened with our staying in touch but we always reconnected and renewed our special friendship with each passing period. We were like brothers, but that can be said of so many of your friends and you. You made people feel at ease with your easy going personality and winsome smile. Thank you for the loving friendship we shared and for the many good memories I will always carry in my heart. Goodbye for now, Tommy. I hope to see you again at the great reunion in heaven.
