Uncle Bill,
Thank you for being an inspiration to me Uncle Bill. You not only taught me to fly but how to be humble and honest. I'll never forget riding with you in the Very EZ at Smith Field as a boy then learning how to fly instruments with you in the Bay area as a Cadet at USAFA.
Every time I fly into SFO as Delta Captain I fondly remember countless approaches into San Carlos Airport as you would gently remind me of the five T's.
I would not have the life I have today or the career I've had to this point without your inspiration Uncle Bill. I'm sorry to see you go but know you will forever be soaring in the skies above eternally. We shall meet again. Thank you for all you have done.
