Bill's dad and my mom were siblings. Bill was one of the kindest, most considerate people I've ever known. He and I were the last of the great letter writers. In his last letter to me (March 11), he shared a wonderful dream he had about his mom (my Aunt Ann) and my mom. He said it was very comforting. I will always treasure that letter, and never forget this truly caring and decent man.

I'll never forget the fun times and love that my counsin Bill provided when we used to visit at the family home in Daly City. He always made me feel important in my youth.

I was a classmate at St. Joseph's and also saw Bill in recent years at many Alumni days and class get-togethers. A truly good and thoughtful guy. God bless.
