William Miller Obituary

William "Bill" Miller

Throughout his life, Bill Miller lived the values he learned growing up in small Minnesota towns – hard work, integrity, and selflessness. These values made Bill consistently successful in every facet of his life. He always listened, genuinely interested in what people had to say. He was a man of compassion and empathy for those who were less fortunate than himself and often marveled at how lucky he was. He gave freely without expecting anything in return. We will miss him enormously.

We will be honoring Bill's memory with a memorial celebration Saturday, January 13th at 5 PM at the Endeavor Building of the Nvidia Campus, located at 2788 San Tomas Expressway, Santa Clara, CA 95051. There is parking underneath the building. All are welcome.

Hi Chad, I just read this while having a late afternoon meal with my wife. I was telling her about the first time I met your Dad at Nvidia, and he "interviewed" me. He walked in with his backpack and said, Alex, you don´t need to wear a suit a tie. I replied and said I was trying to make a good impression. He said "you already did". He was a very kind, warm genuine person. I teared reading your comments here. Take care and I´m sure he´s very proud...Alex

Dad,
I know at my age I should be so much stronger than I am, but I have this pain inside of me that I am really struggling to heal. I think about you everyday and whether you would of the man I am becoming. I wish you could see me now. I carry everything you taught me and made possible in my life and I fight every day to make you proud. Dad I promise you I will beat back the pain inside of me. I remember the last words you ever said to me: "Fight! Fight! Fight!". Pop I promise I will never stop fighting. I love you so much Dad.

Hey Pop,
It has almost been a year since you passed onto the next phase of your journey and I count my blessings everyday that you are a part of my life. You will forever be a part of my life and I carry your spirit in my heart always. Kris and I often speak of you and all the kindness you brought to this world. We also speak of how much you loved life and how you were always selflessly sharing the beauty you saw. Dad, I am so grateful that I got to hear your laughter for it echoes in every room I enter. I can hear your laughter and see your dancing spirit everywhere. I miss and love you so much Dad! There is not a day that goes by that I wish I could see you once more; have one more conversation; and hear your laughter! Dad you will never peak!

Bill was very kind to me and gave me a ton of support when I was pretty obscure in the scheme of things. I will always be grateful that he was with us.

Gina! The principals and staff at Oasis Associates want to extend our heartfelt sentiments for your loss, as our relationship started with you and your desire to remake the Morro Bay house, no doubt for a place of comfort and respite. While it has been a while, we can only hope that the family enjoyed the landscape improvements and that there are memories that come along with those times. My heart goes out to you, Gina Bornino Miller, as it is difficult to lose your husband, your friend, your lover, your confidant. There is nothing that I can say to ease your pain, but that you and the family are in our prayers and that time, memories, and the love of family and friends will see you through. Kind regards, C.M. Florence & Michael L. Cripe.

Whenever I felt that I was walking into walls (which, by the way was often) my Father was great at helping me get grounded and remind myself to not take things so seriously. Dad you taught me a great many things about the power of laughter. There will never be enough lifetimes to share how much my father has impacted me, so, instead I am going to wrap myself up in the ways he touched my life; very much like a warm blanket. I love you Pop. You will be missed every day.

A true loss to our local community as the "Millbor" clans' presence here continues to share their values of integrity and performance in freindship and buissness. The obituary holds true as to Bills' humble and kind spirit.Though high on the food chain he showed genuine interest in the little guy. That is if you were lucky enough to catch him. That guy was always heading off somewhere! We share your sorrow and count ourselves blessed to have had not only Bill but the whole family touch our lives.

Bill was the epitome of A plus. He served on our board of directors for 10 years and was interim ceo for a brief stint. Between the Great mentoring, advice, guidance and steady hand there is nothing I would have changed. Bill will be greatly missed and the world is down a Great Guy
