I had the honor and pleasure of knowing
Bill Walsh during his tenure of Mayor of Syracuse, NY and beyond while a member of Congress. We had many discussions of current events in various places such as the Yates Hotel at lunch time. He possessed a great intellect and caring for the citizens he served as Mayor and during his days in Congress. He was a gentleman who loved his family and Country and a great American.

Donna and Family, the Colemans continue to think of you and your loss. Bill was such an impact on my life so many years ago and continued to be even with the miles that separated us physically. Bill, the epitome of human beings!

To Donna and all the Walsh family,

Bill was a great guy who was always a joy to be around. He and I worked together on a construction project a long time ago and I always enjoyed seeing him and hearing him talk about his family, his life and his travels. He was a man of many interests and had a wide circle of friends who will miss his friendship. RIP Bill.
