William Weinman Obituary
March 15, 1934 - August 31, 2018
Passed away peacefully on August 31. Beloved husband of Joanne for 59 years. Loving father of William Jr. (Donna) and Christian (Alicia); adoring Baba of Giovanna, Kristin, Candice and Nicholas; dear brother of Hugh Snook and Linda Morris; caring brother-in-law of Laura Dutton (Syd); and uncle of Heather Fonseca (Hugo).Most of all, Bill was a proud native San Franciscan who loved his family above all else. His grandchildren were his greatest joy.
Bill graduated from Mission High School and City College. He served 2 years in the US Army. He belonged to Teamster Union Local 85. Bill was an avid sailor and member of Richmond Yacht Club for 66 years. He was the season champion in the 110 class.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
A private memorial service was held on September 22.

We appreciated knowing Bill for over 40 years and always, by chance, running into him at Lucky's, Safeway, Costco, wherever he and Joanne shopped. He had a wonderful sense of humor and we enjoyed reminiscing, as we native San Franciscans do, about how things used to be in the City. Bill also shared our appreciation for Hawaii and, along with Joanne, were for many years a part of our family celebrations...our anniversary, our daughter's wedding and our granddaughter's christening.

Psalms 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years. May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

I work will Bill at United Wesco and United Exposition from 1983 to the day he retired he always called on my birthday in March he was a great friend and will be missed RIP Bill your friend James Moxley aka Mr Mouse
