FRED SANCHEZ Obituary
Fred "Moosie" Sanchez, died at age 56, at his home in Azusa on 10/11/11. He was born on 10/26/54 and has been a lifelong resident of Azusa. Fred was a great father, friend and musician. In 1972 he started the well known band "Balance". Balance was a part of the L.A. music scene but throughout the years Moosie has traveled all over the U.S. with his band performing, entertaining, and influencing not only his family and friends, but also his fans and fellow musicians. He has always been very charitable to his community by playing for numerous benefits and fundraisers. He was an accomplished musician and leader. He also worked at Warner Bros. Studio for the past 10 years and was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 399. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfonso and Carmen Sanchez and Sister Irene Meraz. He is survived by his lifelong partner Nancy and their 3 daughters Reanne, Theresa, and Carlene Sanchez; Granddaughters Regina and Virginia; Sisters Virginia and Cindy; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. His services will be held at St. Frances of Rome Church in Azusa on Thursday at 7:00pm and Friday at 8:30am. Interment to follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Glendora.
