BALDASARRE-Louis Baldasarre, T.V Shop owner. South Plainfield NJ - Louis J. Baldasarre, 73, died on Tuesday April 3, 2007 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ . Born in Plainfield, NJ, Lou resided in South Plainfield, NJ for 25 years before moving to Glendora and LaVerne California, where he also resided for 25 years, returning to South Plainfield in 2005. Lou was the owner and Operator of Lou's TV of South Plainfield for 25 years before his retirement. Lou was a charter member of the South Plainfield B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge # 2298 of South Plainfield. He was also a life member of the South Plainfield Rescue Squad where he proudly served as the squad's Captain and President. He was also a former member of Sacred Heart Church, South Plainfield. While in California, Lou served as the President, Vice President and Treasurer of the Fountains Social Club. Lou also served as the head cook for many of their special occasions and parties. In Lo u's spare time, he enjoyed working with wood and was quite the craftsman. Surviving are his three children, son & daughter-in-law, Paul & Jenifer Baldasarre of South Plainfield, Daughters & son-in law, Laurie & Joe Riccardi of Shohola, Pa, & Deb Baldasarre of Sewell, NJ. His three brothers, Constant, of Scotch Plains, Paul of Washington, NJ, & Andrew of Annandale. And in addition are his beloved 6 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funera ls, 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ . Relatives & friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 PM and from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.
