Hi,
Ken and I were good friends during the high school years. Later after I survived the army and Vietnam we would go around Sheboygan County with our cycles. Ken with his BSA, and I with my Triumph. Many nights were spent together with a brew, or two. One memorable night was at a cottage on Lake Michigan near Oostburg. We watched the FIRST landing, and walking on the moon. That was in July 69 ??? Anyway as the years went on it was only every 5 years when we had a class reunion that we would see each other. The class of "66" will miss you at the 50th reunion coming up next Friday 19 AUG 16. Peace be with you old friend.

My name is Joe Schramm from Normal, IL. I had the honor of being Ken's friend since 2001. We worked together at McLean County Unit 5 School District in Normal, IL. Ken retired from the school district in Jan. 2009. He encouraged me to get my insurance licence and be an agent like he was. I did. We had many good times together. I will miss him. Joe Schramm

Carol, Jim, John and Dawn. Plus, Linda, Diane, Sharon, Shelly, Tim and Lisa, you all have my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Ken and I have been friends since our teenage years. We spent a lot of time together as young adults. Ken and I had a lot of life experiences together. Most of those experiences I remember very fondly. A few, not so much.

My life and Ken's went in different directions and we did not get together for a long time. I wish I had made more effort to contact Ken.

I always felt welcome in the Deblaey home when I was young. I remember Ken's mom (Doris) most for her warm smile. Ken's dad (Bob) was always a nice guy BUT you had to look past his junk yard dog bark to see it. Bob didn't hide his inner nice guy as well as he tried to. Linda and Diane were part of our group that spent our summers on the beach.
Sharon, Shelly, Lisa and Timmy were the little kids, Steve was Mr. in-between.

Again let me say to Carol, Jim, John and Dawn. Plus, Linda, Diane, Sharon, Shelly, Tim and Lisa, you all have my deepest sympathy for your loss. We will miss Ken in our special ways
