Kevin L. Kuester

Kevin L. Kuester, 57, of Sheboygan, passed away Monday, January 26, 2015 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah. Kevin was born April 6, 1957, in Sheboygan, to Bernadine (Edler) Kuester and the late Delbert Kuester. Kevin graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1975. He was a long time employee of the City of Sheboygan working as a heavy duty truck mechanic. On April 20, 2001, he married the former Bonnie Barthels at St. John's United Church of Christ, Sheboygan. Kevin enjoyed spending time in the garage working on his and everyone else's vehicles. He had a passion for everything having to do with engines and cars. He also enjoyed drag racing, both in person or on television. Kevin was loved by everyone, especially his dogs.

In addition to his mother and wife, survivors include his five children, Ryanne (Patrick) Froh, Jesse (Ashley) Krom, Patrick (Jessica) Krom, Scott (Alyssa Wunder) Krom and Allyson (Adam Strucel) Krom; six grandchildren, Isabella, Cassidy, Camden Froh, Taeton Krom, Lily and Connor Krom; two sisters, Nadine (Eugene) Hansen and Denise (Terry) Barthels; sister-in-law, Pat Kuester. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends and his dog, Sarge.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael and his two dogs, Midnite and Jake.

A memorial service for Kevin will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ (1248 Lincoln Ave., Sheboygan) with the Rev. Greg Whelton officiating. Friends may call on Saturday, at the church, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.

Bonnie, I am so sad to hear of Kevin's passing. Kevin was a great cousin that was so caring and full of fun. I will miss his phone calls. I am so blessed to be able to call him cuz from both the Kuester and the Edler sides. I will miss his phone calls. He left us all with so many heartwarming memories to cherish forever. I was able to recently chat with you when you were on light duty at city hall....it was great to reminisce about all the good times many years ago! There are so many fun and crazy memories!!!
