Patricia Berg Obituary
Patricia J. Berg (Butzen), 68, Marshfield, died on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.
Patricia was born on March 30, 1945 in Sheboygan, WI, the daughter of Raymond and Katherine Butzen. She was a 1963 graduate of Sheboygan North High School. She was united in marriage to Harris "Butch" L. Berg on February 27, 1965. He passed away February 1, 2009.
Patty had been a stay at home mother/wife for her family. She enjoyed caring for others and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most of her free time was spent at the family cabin in Phillips planting flowers, gardening and enjoying her many family and friends. She was the epitome of a "Mom", "Grandma" and "Great Grandma" someone you could always count on when you were in need.
She is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey Berg and Rick (Sandy) Berg, all of Marshfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Megan (Wayde) Hoesly and Brandon Berg; and her great grandchildren: Kashton & Kyson Hoesly. She is further survived by her siblings, Robert (Barb) Butzen, Thomas (Sharrol) Butzen, John (Laura) Butzen, and Mary Butzen.
She was predeceased by her parents, and her husband.

It is with great sadness that I heard the news of Patti's passing. She was always happy and generous, and I especially remember the 45's she gave me for my record collection...which included records by Elvis, Ricky Nelson, and many more that came out just a little before my time...

I remember days-long Monoopoly games, putting on shows for our families and charging them a dime. Also turtles, bunnies and guniea pigs, we would have as summer pets. Patty and her family were part of all the fun times we had on 7th Street growng up in Sheboygan. I am sorry for your loss, but I am sure you,her family. have many more good memories of her.

So sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. I have very fond memories of our Hemlock neighborhood coffee klatches when you boys were in elementary school. Pat was a wonderful person and will be missed by all.
