Steven Gatawakas Obituary
Sheboygan - Steven J. Gatawakas, age 59, of Sheboygan, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee following a long illness.
Steven was born in Sheboygan on August 20, 1958 to the late Victor and Irene (Scholz) Gatawakas. He attended local schools and graduated from South High School in 1976. He was employed at Bethesda Thrift Store.
Steven was a gentle soul who spent his life taking care of his parents. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He had an interest in cars and gardening.
Steven is survived by a brother Victor and his sister-in-law Maureen Gatawakas.
A time of celebration will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center from 6 PM until 7 PM.
The family would like to extend their gratitude for the support given to Steven through his illness and the continued care to the end.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Steven's name to a charity of your choice.
