Steven Groh Obituary

Steven J. Groh, 57, of New Holstein went to rest on Saturday November 5, 2011 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls after a battle with cancer.

He was born July 12, 1954 in Manitowoc; son to Betty Jane (Mathes) Groh and the late Edward F. Groh II. Steven was a 1972 graduate of Campbellsport High School.

Steven was married to Lorelei (Riffel) Krogmann and has two boys, Timothy Groh of Mayville and Chad Groh of Hartford. He was also married to Sue (Kollmansberger) Simonson and has one daughter Tanya Groh of Sheboygan.

Steven was employed as a long time Farm Hand for Langenfeld's Mink Ranch in New Holstein. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and vacations with his good friend Lynn Rabe.

Survivors include: his mom Betty Groh of New Holstein, brothers and sisters; Debra (John) Uelmen of Fond du Lac, Christ (Dawn) Groh of Mayville, Terry (Barb) Groh of Elkhart Lake, Edward III (Cathy) Groh of Kaukauna, Scott Groh of New Holstein, Traci (Mike) Reseburg of Kiel and Kelly Schmitz of Fredonia. His children, as previously mentioned, 10 grandchildren, 18 nieces and nephews, 4 uncles and 4 aunts.

Preceding him in death were; his father Edward F. Groh II, a brother Mark, 1 aunt and 4 uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday November 12, 2011 at The Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Ave., New Holstein. Family and friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein on Saturday from 1:00PM until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations would be appreciated.
