Anna Cox Visitation at Glenn E. George and Son Funeral Home
Send FlowersAnna L. Cox, 76, of Martinsville passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025 at her residence.
Born on March 6, 1949, in Cookeville, Tennessee she was the daughter of Clennie Weaver and Halie Marie (Loftis) Weaver.
Survivors include 2 children- Jerry Cox of Martinsville, Angela Price of Martinsville; sister- Joyce Jeffries of Beech Grove; 8 grandchildren- Magnolia, Ally & Amber Wright, Raina, Campbell, Jack, Zacc & Owen Cox; 5 great grandchildren- Sylis Spoon, Azalea Wright, Leon Flores, Cashie Williams, and Callahan Christianson. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Collette Wright.
Anna had lived in this area since 1988 after previously moving from Indianapolis. She graduated from Triton Central High School and also attended Herron School of Art in Indianapolis. Anna attended Martinsville Nazarene Church and worked at Nabisco of Indy for 13 years, Amtrak at Beech Grove for 8 years and Arvin in Franklin for 14 years. Anna enjoyed nature and hiking, animals, reading, art, antiquing, crocheting, crafting, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, December 5, 2025, at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor Jeff Floyd officiating. Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Friday morning from 11:00 am until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to National Wildlife Federation or Riley Children's Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
