Lynnette A. Fox, 58, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at MHP Medical Center.
Born February 7, 1963 in Hayward California, she was the daughter of Donald "Don" Fox and Viola "Vi" (Bailey) Hendrickson.
Survivors include her mother Vi Hendrickson of Rushville; 2 daughters- Brandi Parks and Morgan Adams, both of Shelbyville; sister Sally Colestock (husband Brian) of Moscow; 9 grandchildren- Gavin, Ethan, A.J., MaddieLynn, LillieAnne, Jessica, E.J., Kylee, Janessa; and one great grandson who will be arriving shortly. She was preceded by her biological father Don Brown, and her father Morgan "Monk" Hendrickson.
Mrs. Fox had lived in this area since 2008, after moving from Indianapolis. She had worked with Gilliam Janitorial of Rushville for several years, providing janitorial services at the Rush County Courthouse. She had also devoted over 20 years of her life helping others while employed as dispatcher/patrol/security/transport with Marion Co. Sheriff's Dept., Franklin Township, and Shelbyville Police Dept. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1981, attended IUPUI, and graduated from IU Criminal Justice Program. She was a member of Shelbyville Kingdom Hall.
Lynnette loved her family and grandchildren, and the time she was able to spend with them.
She was active in her church and church activities.
A Service of Remembrance will be 6:00 pm on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday evening, December 3rd from 4:00 pm until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Shelbyville Kingdom Hall, or Shelby County Cancer Association, in care of the funeral home.
