Wanda G. Sheets, 53, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 at MHP Medical Center.
Born September 22, 1968 in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Joe Johnson and Rena Hall. She married Harley Sheets on February 7, 1986 and he survives.
Other survivors include her mother in law and father in law Evelina and George Sheets of Shelbyville; 3 children- Stephanie Hatfield (husband Zachary) of Shelbyville, Heather Sheets (Blake Roberts) of Franklin, Brandon Sheets (wife Austin) of Indianapolis; several brothers and sisters including Carol Hall (Doug Merrill) of Homer; 5 grandchildren- Landon, Aiden, Zaelynn, Zoey, and Avery. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Sheets was a lifelong resident of this area, and was a home maker. She attended Shelbyville High School and became a member of the Waldron Baptist Church in October of 1997.
Wanda enjoyed camping, boating, vacationing, and playing minature golf. She loved her family, her pets, and being involved in any family functions or activities.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Rev. David Humphrey officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday morning from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter, in care of the funeral home.
