LINCOLNTON - Mr. Michael ODonald Eaker, 58, of 602 S. Poplar Street, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010.
Mr. Eaker was born Jan. 11, 1952, in Cleveland County, to Adele Wease Eaker and the late Culver Lee Eaker. He worked as a security officer for Premiere Security. Mr. Eaker served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Corinne Horne Eaker of the home; one son, Michael Jones Eaker of Asheville; four daughters, Michelle Eaker of Shelby, Donna Eaker of Ellenboro, Lee Guerin and husband, Jason, of Ellenboro and Leann Cordial of the home; three stepsons, Grant Adams and wife, Erica, of Denver, Matthew Adams and wife, Julie, of Greensboro and Stephen Adams and wife, Joy, of Quantico, Va.; one step-daughter, Pamela Adams of Queens, N.Y.; two brothers, Phil Eaker and wife, Wanda, and Terry Eaker and wife, Paula, all of Lawndale; mother, Adele Eaker of Lawndale; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial Funeral Mass: Friday, July 9, 4 p.m., St. Luke's Episcopal Church
Officiated by: Father G. Miles Smith
Inurnment: Following the service in the memorial garden at St. Luke's Cemetery
Visitation: The family will receive friends following the burial.
