Napolean Thompson Obituary
He was born in Cherokee County, S.C., on Nov. 30, 1929. He was a faithful member of Jones Tabernacle CME Church for many years, where he sang in the choir and played the guitar. He retired from Carolina Solvents, where he was a dedicated worker. His most enjoyable times were singing, playing the guitar and working on cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rhuben Thompson; one son, Necolean Thompson; one daughter, Violet Catlin; and two step daughters, Leoned Boulange and Francis Sharpe.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Virginia Thompson; and two granddaughters, Tonshuwray and Jasmine Catlin of the home.
Funeral: Saturday, Jan. 2, 2 p.m., New Start Fellowship Baptist Church
Burial: Jones Tabernacle CME Church
Funeral home: Dockery's Funeral Home

We were all saddened here at Carolina Solvents to hear about Abb's death. We were closed last week and didn't find out until we returned Monday. Abb will be greatly missed!

I just like to say to the Thompson family, wait upon the Lord and he will renew your strenght, wait I said upon the Lord. May God be with the family during the time of the your lost. I pray that he give you strenght where you may be weak and build you up where you been torn down. Just hold on to his unchanging hand and he will make everything alright. Weeping may endure by night but joy comes in the morning. So just remember to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
