Jack W. Burrell, 91, of Hesperia, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021. Visitation Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021 from 11 a.m. to noon at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel 7193 W 48th Street Fremont with services at noon. Internment West Hesperia Cemetery.

Very sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. Jack has been a long time personal and family friend. I was a Firefighter with Crystal Valley and Hart and a founding member of the Oceana Fire Investigation Team with Jack. He was well respected by all. Rest In Peace brother

Jack was a good friend and neighbor to us with the State Bank of Hesperia as his business was right next door to the Bank. I'll never forget the time the alarm bell was accidentally set off. He immediately came running with a .38 revolver in his hand. Ready to help....that was Jack. A good man and friend.

I served under Jack's leadership on the Hesperia Fire Dept for 15 years and was proud to have known him. The 65 plus years that he served this Community will never be forgotten and the Hesperia area was a better place to live due to this commitment by your Dad. I can't imagine all the times that Jack answered the call in the middle of the night and 24 / 7 , 365 days a year giving up personal family time to help others. That is something that many in Hesperia will never forget.
Your Dad was also very good friends with my grandfather, Forest Deater and my dad Roy Anderson and would tell me stories about each of them each time he would see me in later years. I will miss seeing Jack out in the yard working as I drive by his home each day but will have great memories of him. I will pray for your healing during this time..... Mike and Theresa Anderson

Our family met Jack in the summer of 67.
We moved to Hesperia from Chicago and we only had 3 friends in town. Jack was friendly and helpful to us and made us feel at ease. Through the years our family was blessed with Jacks friendship, and we all admired his dedication to Hesperia.
I offer my condolences to his family. He was a fine man and he will be long remembered.

Many fond memories of Jack when I was a little child, he swore more than anyone I knew, my parents usually made me leave the room when he was telling a story, but I thought he was hilarious! Rest in peace.

I am so sad to hear of Jack's passing. He is an amazing man and such a vital piece of Hesperia history. I am sure my Pops was in line to greet him, and they picked up where they left off. May you all hold your memories dear, and find Jack living in your hearts. I will remember him for his smile, his laugh and his need to tease me. Sending strength and love.
