Robert Jenkins Obituary
He served his country honorably in the Navy from 1961-1965 completing two world tours aboard the USS Enterprise. He retired as head of maintenance of Lacks Industries as a Master Electrician. Robert loved spending time on the water and outdoors, and on the patio at the Eagles surrounded by friends and family listening to music. He also greatly enjoyed following his grandkids around to all their sporting events.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Connie Lyn Jenkins, their precious daughter Christina Lyn Jenkins, parents John and Theresa Jenkins and five siblings Jimmy, Mary, Johnny, Danny and Tommy. Robert will be deeply missed by his children Amy (John) Modderman, Barbara (Bob) Brown, and Tommy (Jessica) Jenkins, nine grandchildren and many friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday April 27, 2025 from 12 - 3 p.m. at the White Lake Eagles in Whitehall with service taking place from 1 - 1:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to Newaygo County Compassion Home in Robert Jenkins name.
