Michael Weems Obituary
BOSSIER CITY, LA - Graveside services for Michael "Monk" Weems will be conducted 3:00 P.M.
Wednesday Dec. 31, 2008 at Hill Crest Memorial Park with Rev. Andy Harris, pastor, Central Assembly of God officiating. The family will receive friends at Hill Crest Funeral Home from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday December 30, 2008.
"Monk" was born April 26, 1954 in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents, Thelma (Permenter) and James David Weems, and passed away December 28, 2008 in Shreveport following a long illness. He was a welder and truck driver in the Buildings and Trade Industry.
"Monk" was preceded in death by his father, James D. Weems, and is survived by his wife, Debra D. Weems of Bossier City, mother, Thelma P. Weems of Blanchard, son, Michael Weems, Jr., three daughters, Brandy Weems, Margie Weems, and Jennifer Anaya, all of Bossier City, three brothers, James Weems, Jr., Joseph Weems, both of Blanchard, and Danny Weems of Haughton, and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Dowden, Joshua Bellamy, Chris McGoff, Gerald Lacour, Robbie Pelt, Adam Dumas, and Michael D. Weems, Jr.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be Buster Pelt and Matt Bradfield. Hill Crest Memorial
