Ronny Lafitte Obituary
LOGANSPORT, LA - Services for Ronny Lafitte, 47, will be at 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 3, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in the Rambin Community. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 P.M., Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield with a Vigil service to be held at 6 P.M. in the chapel.
Ronny passed away on Friday, October 31, 2008 at the Grace Home in Shreveport after a lengthy illness. He was a 1980 graduate of Vanderbilt High School in Houma, La.
Mr. Lafitte was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Van and Lola Guillotte and paternal grandparents, Burl and Frances Lafitte.
He is survived by his parents, Louis and Dorothy Lafitte of Logansport; one son, Cody Tilley-Lafitte and one daughter, Lyndsey Lafitte, both of Logansport; one sister, Denise Morvant and husband Nelson of Gonzales, La.; three brothers, Louis David Lafitte, Jr. and wife Kay of Yokohama, Japan, Donny Glen Lafitte and wife Penny of Youngsville, La. and Daniel Dalton Lafitte of Logansport and by nieces and nephews, Sarah and James Morvant, Madison and Grant Lafitte, Brock, Lance and Elise Lafitte.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hutchinson, Brock Lafitte, Lance Lafitte, Bret Lonadier, Robin Lafitte, Joseph Lafitte, Jamie Lafitte and John Lafitte.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital. Rose-Neath Funeral Home
